Say a little prayer

You will notice with the top pic that Hayden has figured out to smile for all the pics that get taken......He also has to scrunch his eyebrows to do it.
Well Hayden started off with a fever off and on this week. I thought it was because of another molar coming in. Well two nights ago was very rough. He had a blazing temperature and wimpered like every 30 minutes. So he ended up sleeping in the recliner with me. I took him to the doctor and he has a horrible ear infection (again; he had one in the same ear about a month ago). So she said when he came back in 2 weeks for a recheck and it wasn't better he would need to go see an ENT. (ears, nose, and throat specialist) Well then I asked if we should be concerned that he isn't talking a whole lot she said....let's go ahead and get him into an ENT. Soo pray for our little guy. The only thought going through my head about this is....."Will he have to get tubes in his ears?" On a good note....he didn't make a peep all night last night so he must be feeling better! I'm headed to Longview this weekend!!! I'm excited. (I haven't been since Christmas)
Have a great weekend.

Biker Boy

We had an event this evening in which a neighbor drove his motorcycle to and so Hayden had the joy of sitting on it. Notice the big smile on his face!

The Buck's weekend!

What a weekend! I went to a church library conference this weekend and learned soooooo much. If you don't know I've volunteered to get the library at our church up and running again. It's going to be a huge task. Since I had the conference and Joey had school and work my wonderful mother in law came in to be with Hayden. It is such a blessing to have her come cause it allows me to rest and just be a mommy and wife to my family without the extra responsibilities. Thanks Smom!

You may also know that my little nephew Mason is in the NICU. He was born almost 2 weeks ago and will still be in NICU for a little while longer. He is fine but they are waiting for him to develop a little more before he can go. He was born about 6 weeks early at a great weight but yet still a preemie. Mommy is doing great.

This evening I found out some very sad news. The church my family went to prior to the one they are at now had a minister that greatly impacted our family and true servant of Christ. He was my brother's youth minister, a friend of mine's dad, old coaching buddy of my dad, and the person who baptized me when I became a Christian. If you think about it as you pray please pray for the family of Dick Stagner. He will be greatly missed!

New Kid on the block

This is our new love in life......Hayden. He is currently 18 months old! Isn't he just adorable!
Ok it is now official. I have now joined the blog world. Joey and I both have family that live far and so I thought this would be perfect for them to be able to keep up with their grandson. This way they don't have to be a part of facebook or myspace in order to do this. I know it will take a little time before I get the blog to look real cute so if you would like to throw some advice to the new girl on the block go ahead.
